COMMUNICATION
If you are a parent or guardian and would like to get ahold of Miss Kuykendall, she is connected to all classes on DOJO, or you can email her at [email protected].
CLASS VISITS
Each class K-5 has a scheduled visit to the library once a week where they will have the engaged in research skills, technology skills, library skills, and more. Students who need to check out on a day other than their scheduled visit may visit the library during morning recess with their classroom teacher's permission. During all visits to the library, patrons are expected to be respectful, be responsible, and be ready to learn.
CHECK OUTS
Every week students in grades 1-5 will have the opportunity to check out. They are allowed to check out the same amount of books as their grade level (i.e. grade 1=1 book, grade 2=2 books, etc.). Kindergarten classrooms check out books to their rooms that stay at school. Library materials are due back in one week, but may be renewed at the discretion of the librarian. In order to renew, the materials must be brought back. Any overdue materials will result in loss of all checkout privileges until they are returned. All students are responsible for remembering and caring for their materials while they are checked out.
LOST/DAMAGED BOOK
If a book is lost or damaged, please contact Miss Kuykendall as soon as possible by email or DOJO.
